Our Dinner Meeting was held at the Northfield Center in Springfield, Illinois.

Mark DePue, LtCol, USA (Ret)

GREAT presentation of Mark's Interview with Adm Ron Thunman, who passed away last year.

The Admiral spent his life in submarines, and was one of the best storytellers Mark has ever interviewed.  Related many great stories about Adm. Hyman Rickover, commanding an attack sub sneaking around off the coast of the USSR, helping find the Titanic and working with author Tom Clancy (Hunt for the Red October).  WOW!

Lt Col DePue was our Program.  His presentation of his interview with Admiral Ron Thunman was TOP NOTCH!

Mrs Thunman was our special guest for the evening.

She is a very delightful lady!
